luuuuuuuuuuuuunga Day to day, sometimes exhausting .... but first things first.

morning in a quiet, relaxing on the couch to watch ESPN HD with some recorded game the night before. At about 10.30, Angelica went to work dressed up .... here ..... tomorrow is Halloween and all dress up to scare others. It looks like this ...

hihihihih ... the writing front reads "Hug The Cook" which translated means "Kiss the cook" ... a little 'hard with the "mask-face" on ....

After breakfast in the typical American bar with mega bar and attached chairs, we left for San Francisco. A few posts ago I talked about the closure of the Bay Bridge, with its impact on traffic. Well, today we experienced what it means.

On the way, good or bad, we were not involved in queues or delays. We drove down the bridge of San Matteo joins the "Route 101" (the one that makes all the West Coast of the United States) about 15 miles south of San Francisco.

After about 2h30 'travel, we arrived all'Univerisità. First we did a little 'narrow streets to enjoy the city better. Wonderful day, 20 degrees without too much wind that the city is really unusual. Once you find parking, we went two steps inside the campus.

Again, gardens, open spaces, though not so exaggerated as to Turlock. Coach John warned me, however, "Stanford will be even better !!!". Oh, not that this face so disgusting, but ...

arrived 15.30, we entered the building. Not as impressive as that of Cal, but pretty much the same and funzonale. We were welcomed very warmly by the staff. They gave us the program of training, they asked us if we wanted something to drink .... So .... very very hospitable.

The training lasted about 2:35 a.m. '. They have tried many solutions 5contr5 because tomorrow is scheduled for a friendly game against a college in the second division.

I was very impressed with the organization, thoroughness in complying with times and especially the intensity of each proposed exercise. I must say this, until now, was the best training I have ever seen.

Eventually, CAOC Rex Walters has entertained us for half an hour. John wanted to ask him more details on a type of zone defense that USF has fielded during the exercise. Coach Walters, with enthusiasm, he explained some of the concepts in the field and then in his office.

At 1800 we went to USF and we said, "better to eat first and then deal with traffic ... right decision. We had suggested a place from which a staff sent us to a Hawaiian restaurant near the palace. Well, first time at Hawaii .... really good. They use pasta as a side dish ... hihhihi .... We have served the flow in square wooden plates .... What a delicacy!

After the dinner, we prayed a little prayer or two and we went on a journey home, hoping not to find too much traffic .... vain hope ... Despite the hour, the San Mateo Bridge c ' column was still .... Oh well ... Amen

It's all for today. Tomorrow and after 2 days of relative rest at home for the celebration of Halloween and All Saints. Monday, most likely, we will visit Stanford University, one of 10 universities reputations in the world ...

Stay Tuned!!
